Note: We used a measuring tape but our vehicle still diddn't go very far so these are exaxt readings, we just wanted to tell in case you wondered.

The energy goes from your wrist to the wheel and winds the rubber band.

2. Where does the energy to move the vehicle come from?
The energy from the rubber band moves the vehicle.

3. How do you release the energy stored in the rubber band?
You let go of the wheele

4. What happens when the stored energy in the rubber band is released?
The vehicle moves when the stored energy in the rubber band is released.

5. How does the number of turns on the rubber band affect the distance the vehicle travels?
The more winds on the rubber band, the farther the vehicle moves.

6. Why was it important to keep the number of turns the same for all groups in the class?
So we don't have completly different anwsers and it would also be a variable.

7. What would happen if the number of turns was only 1? What if the number of turns was 10?
If we only wound it once it wouldn't go far. If we wound it 10 times it would go really far.
